Anjali Marbles

Anjali Marbles is located over on Tikkar Road, right near the Balji Dharam Kanta. Having the weighbridge nearby is actually pretty handy for us since we deal with so much heavy material. Our yard is where we keep all the marble slabs and tiles. It’s not a polished showroom like you might see in the big cities. It’s a working yard where things get moved around by hand or with the small crane we have. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who come by, showing them the different patterns and colors in the stone. Every piece of marble is a bit different, so people like to pick out exactly what they want. It can be a long process sometimes, standing out in the sun looking at rows of stone, but we don't mind. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to keep the business running and make sure the people who buy from us are happy enough with what they get. The road out here can get busy with trucks going to the weighbridge, so it’s rarely quiet. We’ve been in this spot for a while and most of the locals know where to find us. It’s just us, the marble, and the daily work that needs doing. Sometimes the yard gets a bit muddy when it rains, but we just wear our boots and keep working like we always do to get things done.
