Picknick Kirana Store

Being in Johari Bazar is always a bit hectic. Our shop, Picknick Kirana Store, is tucked away at Ghee Walon Ka Rasta 55. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. We’ve been here at number 55 for quite some time now. Every morning we open up early to get the stock ready. It’s a lot of lifting sacks and weighing out things for people. The street is narrow, and there’s always someone moving past. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Most of the time, we’re just busy filling orders or restocking the shelves with lentils, spices, and other bits. It’s a small space, so we have to be clever about where we put everything. Things can get a bit messy during the rush hours, but we try to keep it organized. It’s not a fancy supermarket. It’s just a regular kirana store where we know what people need. Ghee Walon Ka Rasta has its own rhythm. Sometimes the noise from the bazar gets a bit much, but you get used to it after a few years. We don’t spend money on big ads. People just know where we are. We’re usually here from early morning until late evening. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We just try to keep the basics in stock and make sure the weights are right. That's about it for us at Picknick Kirana Store. We just keep serving the folks who stop by and help them find what they need.
