Pawan Marble & Stones is over at C-62 on Road No 1C in the VKIA industrial area. Like most businesses in VKIA, we deal with a lot of dust and noise. The yard is full of marble blocks and stone slabs of all different sizes. Road No 1C is a busy stretch with lots of heavy machinery moving around. Our spot at C-62 isn't a place for someone wearing a suit. You’re likely to get a bit of white marble powder on your shoes if you walk through. We spend our time checking the quality of the stones and making sure the cutting machines are running right. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of life. We don't have a polished website or a big marketing budget. Pawan Marble & Stones is just known by the people who come to this part of the industrial zone. The office is a small room with a fan and a lot of ledgers. We’ve been here at this address for quite some time, watching the area change around us. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving those heavy pieces of stone, but it’s what the job requires. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable one that stays put and does the work.
