You’ll find the Paudha Climate Network Foundation at 474 Lal Ji Sand Ka Rasta in Jaipur. It’s right in the middle of the old part of town, 302003. If you know those narrow lanes, you know it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through sometimes. Our office is an old building that has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We spend our days talking about plants and the weather and how things are changing around us. It’s not a high-tech setup. We have some old wooden tables and a lot of notebooks filled with ideas. We aren't experts with big degrees; we are just people who care about the climate in Rajasthan. We see the heat getting worse and the rain being unpredictable, so we started this network to see what we could do. It’s mostly just talking to people and sharing what we know. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed by the size of the problem, but then we just focus on one small thing we can do today. Being in the heart of Jaipur, we see the real impact of everything on the streets. We aren't a big agency with a lot of funding. We just scrape by and do our best with what we have at 474 Lal Ji Sand Ka Rasta. It’s simple work, but it feels important to us and our families.
