Pashupati Tools and Hardware

We’ve been here at Chameliwala Market for a while now. If you walk down M.I. Road and find number 15, that’s where we keep all the tools and hardware. It’s a busy spot, mostly full of people looking for a specific bolt or a new drill bit. The shelves are pretty packed. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone asks for because we have so much stuffed into the back corners. We spend most of the morning unpacking crates and checking what needs to be restocked. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is with metal and wood tools. Most of the guys who come in are regulars from the nearby construction sites or just people trying to fix something at home. We don't really do anything fancy here. It’s just us sitting behind the counter, handing over wrenches and hammers. Some days the traffic outside on M.I. Road is so loud we can barely hear the customers, but you get used to it after a few years. We keep the doors open even when it’s hot. There’s always someone stopping by asking for advice on a plumbing fix or what kind of nail won't bend. We just try to keep the inventory organized enough so we don't run out of the basics. It’s a lot of lifting heavy boxes and counting small parts, but it keeps the day moving along and the shop stays open until late evening.
