Paani Ki Bund Foundation

Our foundation, Paani Ki Bund, is located in the Kalyanpura area of Sanganer. We operate from Shri Budhi Prakash’s place in Secretariate Vihar. It is a residential neighborhood and quiet for the most part which helps when we need to focus. The name translates to a drop of water which is a big deal around here given how important water is in Jaipur. We are not some massive entity with a lot of money. We are just a few people who care about the local issues. Sanganer is a busy part of town but our little corner is a bit more relaxed. We do not have a big corporate structure. We just talk among ourselves and decide what needs doing next. Sometimes we are out in the field and other times we are just handling the paperwork at the house. It is a bit of a mix. We do not use big words to describe ourselves. We are just local residents trying to make some small improvements. The address is easy to find if you are in the Kalyanpura area. We have been here for a while and most of the neighbors know what we are about. We do not run ads or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It is a practical way to live and work. We just take things one day at a time here. It keeps us grounded and busy doing what we can.
