Over Earth

Our office is over at A-32 in Ayodhya Nagar, right on Gandhi Path in Jaipur. It’s a nice enough area, a bit more relaxed than the city center. Over Earth is a small operation, and we like it that way. The building is an older style, so it has its quirks, like a door that sticks in the monsoon season and a squeaky chair in the corner. We don’t really have a reception desk or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there at their desk. We do a bit of everything here to keep things running. It’s the kind of place where everyone makes their own tea, and we usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. The neighborhood is quiet, mostly residential with a few other small businesses scattered around. We know the people at the nearby shops by name, especially the guy who sells snacks in the afternoon. We don't spend much money on fancy furniture; we’d rather just have good equipment that doesn't break. There’s always a pile of mail to go through and some project or another on the table. We just take it day by day, making sure the work gets finished and things are sorted out. It’s just us doing what we know how to do without any fuss. The walls are a light cream color that has faded a bit over the years, but it feels like home to us now.
