You can find us over at 4 272 in Jawahar Nagar in Jaipur. This part of the city is always buzzing with energy, especially in the markets nearby. Our office is a modest one, situated right in the middle of a residential street where you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We have a few desks set up and some shelves for all the paperwork that seems to pile up no matter how much we file away. Every morning we start by opening the windows to let some air in, though we have to close them pretty quick once the Rajasthan heat starts to climb. We don’t go in for anything flashy because that’s just not our style. We prefer to just sit down and get through the work without any unnecessary distractions. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through documents that need attention. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down where we usually go for a break in the afternoon. It’s a good chance to stretch our legs and see what’s going on in the street. We’ve been here for a good while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s a practical setup that allows us to do what we need to do without any fuss or bother. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay on top of things. It’s not a complicated life, but it’s ours and we are happy enough with how things are going in our little corner of Jaipur.
