No Company

We are situated at I 132 in Phool Bagh, which is part of Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. It is a fairly quiet area compared to the big cities. Our setup is basically part of a residential block that we converted for our work. It’s got a small garden in front which we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. Inside, it’s just a few tables and some computers. We spend most of our time here during the week. The air is better here than in the plains, and that’s one of the reasons we stayed. We aren't a big firm with layers of management. If something needs to be decided, we just talk it over while having lunch. It’s a very simple way to run things. We don't have a lot of visitors, but when someone does drop by, we usually have a spare chair for them. The work is steady and we have a routine that we follow. We don't go for any of that corporate talk. We just call things what they are. Sometimes the power goes out and we just take a break until it comes back. It is a relaxed but productive atmosphere. We’ve grown to like the pace of life in Phool Bagh and we plan to stay here for a long time. It feels right to be doing our own thing in such a peaceful place. We just focus on the tasks we have.
