Nbf Public School

Out on Niwaru Road in the Jhotwara part of Jaipur, you'll find Nbf Public School. It's in the Ganesh Nagar area, which is a busy spot, so there's always something going on outside the main gates. We have kids from all the nearby neighborhoods coming in every morning, some on bicycles and others dropped off by their parents. The school building is simple and has been around for some time now. We have a playground that gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, which is pretty common here in Jaipur. Inside, the classrooms are filled with wooden desks and blackboards. The teachers are mostly local people who have been working here for years. They know the families of the students well. It’s the kind of school where you see siblings following each other through the grades. We don't have a massive auditorium, so we mostly do things out in the open yard. In the winter, the sun feels nice during the morning assembly, but in the summer, we try to get everyone inside as fast as possible. It’s just a regular local school trying to get the kids through their exams and moving on to the next thing. You won't find any high-tech gadgets in every corner, but the books are there and the kids learn what they need for life. Most of the staff has been here long enough to see several generations grow up.
