Academy Of Clinical Research

You can find the Academy of Clinical Research over in Vidhyadhar Nagar. We are in Sector 6, specifically the R-3 building. It’s a bit of a quiet area, which is good for the kind of studying we do here. The building isn't very new, so it has that solid, older feel to it. Inside, we’ve set up some tables and chairs for the trainees. There are a few computers that we share, and the internet works most of the time unless it’s raining hard. We have shelves full of folders and reference books about medical trials and data. It’s not a fancy lab or anything; it’s more of a classroom setting where we go over the rules and the paperwork side of research. The R-3 unit is easy to spot once you get into Sector 6. We have a small kitchenette in the back where we make coffee. Most of us have been in the clinical field for a while, so we just talk about the practical side of things. There’s no big reception desk, you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We like the neighborhood because it’s easy to get a snack or lunch nearby. The curtains are a bit faded from the sun, but they keep the glare off the screens. It’s just a place where people come to learn a specific skill and then move on to their jobs. We spend a lot of time reading through long documents and checking dates on forms. It’s a lot of paper.
