People often get a bit lost finding us at No. 75 Janak Vihar, so we usually tell them to look for the Masor Durga Das Farm House. We are right behind that spot in Panchyawala. Being off Sirsi Road means it’s not as crowded as the city center, but the trucks still find their way here okay. My clothes usually have a layer of stone dust by noon, but that’s the reality of working with marble and granite. We keep the inventory out in the open mostly. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things with the crane. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the yard, while other days it feels like everyone wants their stone delivered at the same time. It gets loud when the cutting starts, so we mostly talk over the noise. We aren't big on fancy talk or slick presentations. We just show people what we have in the yard and let the stone speak for itself. The weather out here can be tough, especially when the rain hits and we have to cover everything up quick. It’s a simple setup we’ve got. We’ve been in this part of town for a bit and know the neighbors well. If you see the big farm house, you know you’re almost at our gate. We keep busy with the daily chores and making sure the slabs are loaded safely for the customers.
