Natural Indian Stones is tucked away in Roshan Market, which is part of the Vaishnav Properties in Vaishali Nagar. If you have ever been to Roshan Market, you know it is a lively place with a lot of small businesses squeezed in together. We are right in the middle of it all. We handle different types of Indian stones, and our shop is often packed with samples and paperwork. Vaishali Nagar is a great neighborhood, but it can be a bit of a scramble to find a place to park some days. We don't mind the bustle, though. It keeps things interesting. Most of our day is spent answering questions from local folks who are renovating their kitchens or fixing up their floors. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules; we just run the shop as best as we can. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the market traffic, and we just have to deal with it. We like the personal feel of being in a market. You get to know the other shop owners and the regulars who walk by every day. We don't do much in the way of promotional stuff. We just let the stones speak for themselves and try to be helpful when someone isn't sure what they want. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest way to make a living. We spend our hours here surrounded by the patterns of the earth, just helping people pick what looks right.
