Natraj Dance Music Academy

Our place is in Vaishali Nagar, right on Gandhi Path in the Chitrakoot Scheme B 2/23 area. It is a combined academy where we do both dance and music. Usually, you can hear a bit of both coming from the rooms. It can get a little confusing when the drums are going in one room and someone is practicing their footwork in the other, but we make it work. Natraj Dance Music Academy is not a huge operation. We have a few instruments tucked away in the corners and some speakers that have seen better days. The building itself is just a standard house that we’ve converted for our classes. It feels more like a home than a school, which I think people actually like. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. If you want to know what we do, you just have to come by and listen for a bit. We spend our afternoons teaching kids how to hold a beat or how to follow a melody. It’s regular work, nothing glamorous. Sometimes the sink leaks in the small bathroom, and we have to put a bucket under it until the plumber comes. That is just how things are here. We aren't perfect, but we are honest about what we do. We just want to keep the local arts alive in our little corner of Vaishali Nagar.
