Gidhar Kala Sansthan

Gidhar Kala Sansthan is located in Bani Park, right at the Main Peetal Factory Chouraha. If you are looking for us, we are very close to Maduram Sweets, which everyone in Jaipur - 302016 seems to know and visit. Our place is where we focus on local arts and culture. It’s not a big corporate building, just a modest space where we gather to work. Bani Park is a nice area, though the traffic at the chouraha can be a bit loud and messy sometimes. We spend our days working on different projects related to the local traditions of Rajasthan. Sometimes we have students here, and other times it’s just us organizing things on the floor. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the neighbors are all quite friendly to us. It’s a simple setup with a few rooms and a lot of old equipment and books piled up. We don’t have fancy furniture or a reception desk. Usually, if the door is open, you can just walk in and find someone in the back room. Being near the Peetal Factory means there is always some kind of noise or activity going on nearby. We like the energy of this part of Jaipur. It’s a practical spot for us because people can find it easily thanks to the sweet shop next door. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping some of our local skills alive.
