National Building Construction Corporation

We are based over on Ajmer Road in Jaipur. If you know the South part of the city, we are right there in the middle of it. The office is part of the National Building Construction Corporation. It's a busy spot because Ajmer Road always has cars and trucks going by. We handle a lot of the construction stuff for the area. It involves a lot of blueprints and talking to contractors. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside if we leave the windows open. We have a small crew here in Jaipur. Most of us have lived in Rajasthan our whole lives. We know the local way of doing things. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather gets really hot in the summer months. We just drink a lot of water and keep working. There are piles of bricks and samples of materials sitting in the corner of the room. It’s not a showroom, just where we keep things. We aren't corporate people with suits. Most of us wear plain shirts and sturdy shoes because we are often out at sites. We’ve been at this 302006 location for a good while. You might see our trucks around. We just try to get the buildings up and make sure the foundations are solid. It's honest work and we like seeing the city grow bit by bit. That is pretty much our daily routine. We don’t have fancy meetings or anything like that, just work.
