National Ballbearing Company

Our place, National Ballbearing Company, is right by the Police Station in Banipark. If you’re in Jaipur, you probably know the area. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve been at this spot for quite a bit of time now. We handle ballbearings all day long, which is mostly just making sure everything is sorted and ready. It’s greasy work sometimes, but someone has to do it. The shop is simple. We don't have fancy lights or a big reception desk. It’s mostly just shelves and the sound of metal. Being near the police station means it’s easy to give directions to people who haven't visited us before. You just tell them it's near the Banipark police station and they find us easily enough. Rajasthan gets dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters. We mostly talk to the same people every week, locals who need parts for their machines. It's a steady rhythm. Some days are slower than others, but there is always some inventory to check. We don't really bother with big speeches about what we do. We just open up in the morning, handle the bearings, and talk to the neighbors. It’s just a regular local business. We like the neighborhood even with all the noise from the main road.
