Mr Pareek Mukut Behari

In Sodala, things are always moving. We are located at 22-23 Indraprastharam Nagar. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say, but people around here know the street. Mr Pareek Mukut Behari is the name on the nameplate. This office is part of a house, so it has that lived-in feel. You can hear the sounds of the kitchen from next door and the neighbors' scooters starting up. It’s a very local way to work. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. You just come in and find a chair. The space is full of books and ledgers that have been around for years. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who stop by. Sodala is a crowded part of Jaipur, so it’s always lively. Sometimes the cows block the road, or there’s a wedding procession passing by with loud music. You just learn to work through it. We like being here because it’s close to everything. It’s not a corporate office with glass partitions. It’s just a room with some fans and a lot of work to do. We don’t make a big fuss about things. We just do the math, check the documents, and try to keep things moving along without any drama. It’s just how we operate in this corner of the city, keeping it plain and real for everyone who visits.
