Mittal Stones

Mittal Stones is located at Plot No-G-1-68 in the Rico Industrial Area of Shahpura. Being in an industrial zone means it’s pretty loud and there are lots of other factories and shops around us. We’ve been here for a while, dealing with all kinds of stone. Our plot is usually a bit of a mess with slabs leaning against the walls and crates waiting to be moved. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We spend most of our day outside or under the corrugated metal roof, depending on what needs cutting or loading. Shahpura can get really hot in the summer, and the industrial area feels even hotter with all the machinery running. We don't put on any acts here. If you come to see us, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of stone dust. We handle the orders as they come in. Sometimes we’re ahead of schedule, other times we’re a bit behind because a machine broke down or a delivery was late. That’s just life in the stone business. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. We know the stone and we know the area. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do and we’ve been doing it at this same plot for a long time now.
