Mittal Marble & Granites

We are located over at D-125A on Road No.9 in the V.K.I. Area. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise and trucks moving about. Mittal Marble & Granites is basically a yard full of stone. We deal with both marble and granite, which means we see a lot of different colors and patterns every week. Some days are just spent unloading crates and making sure nothing got cracked during transport. It's not a clean job, you end up with stone dust on your clothes by noon. We get a lot of contractors coming through who know exactly what they want, so we just get out of their way and let them pick. Other times, someone is building their first house and they look a bit lost, so we show them what we have in stock. The sun can be quite hot out here in the yard, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep the stock moving so nothing sits for too long. There’s no big corporate office here, just a desk and a lot of heavy lifting. We focus on the inventory we have and getting orders filled on time. It's a lot of physical labor but it feels good to see a truck loaded up and heading out to a site. We just keep doing what we do every single day.
