Rama Stones is located at No. 10/181 in Mansarovar. This area is pretty residential now, but we still have our space where we keep the stone. It’s a straightforward operation. We have different types of stone stacked up, and people from the neighborhood usually stop by when they’re doing some renovation or building a new floor. I’ve spent many hours walking around the yard, showing folks the difference between one slab and the next. It’s funny how people can look at the same piece of stone and see different things. We keep the inventory as tidy as we can, but with heavy slabs, it’s not always easy. The cranes and the manual lifting take up most of the morning. We deal with a lot of dust, and the shoes never stay clean for long. Mansarovar is a large area, so we get people coming in from all corners of it. Sometimes they bring their architects, and other times it’s just a homeowner trying to pick something for their kitchen. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; people mostly find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we were. We just try to keep enough stock so that when someone needs something, we actually have it on hand. It’s a steady kind of life, working with materials that have been around for millions of years. We just move it from one place to another and hope it looks good.
