We aren't a giant warehouse, but we manage to keep a good variety of things on hand. Most of our day is spent checking over orders and making sure the right slabs are ready for pickup. It can get a bit hectic when several people show up at once, but we do our best to help everyone out. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. The office is just a place to keep the paperwork organized, and the rest of the space is for the inventory. It feels like a real workshop environment here. We wear work gear because the job is dusty and heavy. There’s no point in dressing up when you’re moving rocks around all day. We’ve been around for a bit and have seen the neighborhood change, but we just keep doing what we do. If someone needs a piece of stone for a project, they stop by and we show them what’s in the back. It’s a very manual process, from start to finish. We like the work, even when it’s tiring and my back hurts at the end of the day. It’s a solid way to make a living.
