If you go down to Chandpole Bazar, you will find Jailal Munshi Ka Rasta, and that is where Manoj Kumar Pareek is located. It is a very old part of town, so the streets are narrow and always crowded with people and scooters. I like the energy of the bazar, even if it gets a bit overwhelming on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. My place is tucked away a bit, so you have to keep an eye out for the turn. Inside, it is a bit dark because the buildings are so close together, but I have plenty of lights to keep it bright enough for work. I have been in Chandpole Bazar for quite some time now. You get to know the other shopkeepers and the regulars who walk by every morning. We talk about the weather or how the business is going, just small talk really. I don't have a big mission or anything like that. I just open the door, turn on the lights, and start the day. The address on Jailal Munshi Ka Rasta is home base for me. It’s got a lot of character, with the old walls and the history of the market all around. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so I just sit out front and watch the world go by. That is just how life works here. Manoj Kumar Pareek is just a small part of this big, busy market. The smell of incense often drifts in from the temple nearby.
