Mama Ji Marble

You can find Mama Ji Marble at Plot No 97 in Tagore Nagar, which is right near the Kiran Hotel on Ajmer Road. We have been at this location for a good bit of time, and the yard is usually full of marble slabs. Being so close to the main road means there is always traffic going by, but it makes it easy for people to stop in when they see the stone. We spend most of our mornings moving the heavy slabs with the crane and making sure everything is stacked safely. The white dust gets on everything, including our clothes and the small office we have on the plot. It is hard work lifting and moving marble all day, but we are used to it. We do not have a team of salesmen; it is just us showing people the different patterns and colors in the stone. Most of our customers are just local folks or contractors who know we are here on Ajmer Road. We do not really believe in doing big advertisements. We just open the gate and start working. Sometimes the sun is really hot out in the yard, so we take breaks in the shade when we can. We just try to keep the inventory sorted so we can find what people want without digging through the whole stack. It is just a simple marble yard where we do our work every day.
