R. J. Sanitary & Hardware

R. J. Sanitary & Hardware is tucked away in Ashok Vihar, right near the Nandpuri Masjid here in Malviya Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for a good while. The shop is usually packed with boxes of pipes, taps, and all the little bits of hardware you need for a house. Sometimes it’s hard to find things because we have so much stock in a small space, but we know where everything is. People from the nearby streets come in when a tap leaks or they are fixing up a bathroom. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors about what they need for their repairs. It’s not a fancy showroom like you see in the big malls. It’s more of a practical place where you get what you need and go. We keep the shop open late most days because that’s when people get off work and realize they need a washer or a screw. Being near the Masjid means there is always foot traffic and people stopping by. We know most of our customers by name by now. It’s just a regular hardware store run by local guys. We try to keep the basics in stock so nobody has to drive across town for a simple pipe fitting. We just keep our shelves stocked and wait for the next person to walk through the door with a problem to solve.
