Makrana Marbles

You can find Makrana Marbles at Shop No. 18 in Om Nagar. We are right by Khirni Phatak in the Khatipura area. It’s a busy little corner of the city. We have been selling marble here for quite some time now. The shop is packed with different slabs and tiles. It’s not the biggest place, but we try to keep a good variety so people have choices. When people are building their homes, they come by to see what we have. We spend our days showing the patterns in the stone and talking about which ones are harder or easier to clean. It’s honest work. We get a lot of dust on our clothes by the end of the day, but that’s expected. We don't use any big marketing tricks. We just show the stone for what it is. My brother and I handle most of the customers ourselves. We like talking to people and hearing about their renovation projects. Sometimes it’s just a small bathroom, other times it’s a whole house. We handle the deliveries with an old truck we’ve had for years. It’s not always easy moving these heavy slabs around the narrow streets of Khatipura, but we manage. We’re just a local shop trying to make a living and help our neighbors get the floors they want. It’s a straightforward business and we like keeping it that way every day.
