Maiya Foundation

You can find Maiya Foundation over in Pratap Nagar, specifically in Sector-5. We are located at 54-54 in Krishna Vihar, right across from Kumbha Marg. It is a pretty busy area of Jaipur with a lot of shops and houses around. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our stuff and meet up. We are not some big NGO with hundreds of workers. It is just a handful of us who live nearby and wanted to help out. Some of us have known each other for years. We spend our days trying to sort out local problems. Sometimes we are out in the streets and other times we are stuck inside doing paperwork. It gets noisy with the traffic on Kumbha Marg, but you get used to it. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door is open, you can just walk in. We try to keep things simple. There is no corporate ladder or fancy titles here. We just see what needs doing and try to do it. The neighborhood knows us as the people from the Krishna Vihar office. We have been here for a while now. It is a decent place to work from. We just keep plugging away at our projects and hope for the best. It is just local people trying to make a small difference in Pratap Nagar.
