You can find us over at A 38 Laxmi Narayan Puri, which is just outside Surajpole in Jaipur. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with all the people coming and going through the gate. The office is tucked away a bit, but once you find it, it’s a fairly quiet place to get things done. I have been running Mahendra Khandelwal Company from this location for quite a while now. The building is sturdy and stays relatively cool even when the Jaipur sun is beating down outside. I’ve got an old ceiling fan that squeaks a little, but it keeps the air moving. My desk is usually a mess of ledger books and pens. I’m not much for computers, though we have one for the necessary stuff. I prefer the feel of paper and ink. Most of the people who come by are regulars who have been dealing with us for years. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth seems to work just fine for what we do. I like to keep things straightforward and simple. There is a small tea shop around the corner where I spend my afternoons if the workload isn't too heavy. It’s a good life here, and we just keep plugging away at the work as it comes in. Nothing too complicated, just a local business doing its thing year after year. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else honestly.
