Mahaveer Granite Udyog

We are out in the RIICO Industrial Area in Shahpura, at Office No H-156. It is an industrial spot, so there are factories and workshops all around us. The air always smells a bit like machinery and wet stone. We work with granite mostly. The blocks come in and we have to get them sorted out. It is a lot of heavy lifting and the machines are running most of the day. It gets loud and we usually have to shout to talk to each other. We don't have a fancy front for the business. It is just the office and the area where the granite is kept. Most people who come here are builders or people who are doing a lot of work on a new place. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard regardless of the weather. When it is hot, the stone gets warm to the touch, and when it rains, everything gets slippery. We just keep an eye on the stock and handle the loading when the trucks arrive. It is a basic operation. We are just local people working in the industrial zone, trying to get the stone out to where it needs to go. There is nothing polished about it, just the raw stone and the work it takes to move it every day.
