Mahadev Marbles

We’ve been sitting here across from Agarwal Farm for quite a few years now. It gets pretty dusty out on New Sanganer Road, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with stone all day. People usually find us easily because we are right near Shri Rammandir. It's a busy part of Mansaroover, so there is always noise from the traffic. My family started Mahadev Marbles because we knew the stone business well. We spend most of our mornings moving slabs around and checking the stock that comes in from the quarries. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on the yard and we have to take breaks in the shade. We have a lot of different types of marble sitting out there in the open. We don't really do fancy ads or anything like that. Mostly, folks just stop by because they saw the sign while driving past or someone told them we have what they need for their floors. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and our backs feel it by the end of the week. When a truck arrives, everything stops so we can unload the new pieces safely. We try to keep things organized, but a marble yard is never going to be perfectly clean. We just focus on showing people the pieces we have available. If you walk around the back, you’ll see the bigger pieces leaning against the walls. It’s just us here most days, keeping an eye on the shop.
