Working in Johari Bazar is always an experience because of how narrow the lanes are. Love Kush Chemicals is located at Ghhe Walonka Ka Rasta 1943/44, which is a very old part of the city. You have to navigate through the crowds and the rickshaws to find us. The shop has been here for a long time, and the building itself feels like it has a lot of history. We deal with various chemicals that people in the market need for their work, whether it is for jewelry making or other local trades. The address 1943/44 is etched into the old stone near the entrance. It stays relatively cool inside the shop because of the thick walls, even when the sun is beating down on the streets outside. We don't have much space, so we have to stack the containers and bottles very carefully. There’s always a smell of something sharp in the air, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days talking to the regular customers who have been coming to us for decades. It's not a place for tourists, just a regular shop for people who have work to do. Every evening when we close up the shutters, the bazar is still loud with people. We just lock up and head home, ready to do the same thing again the next morning in this busy corner of Jaipur.
