Learning Step School

We are located at 51, Vishnu Colony, right across from the ESI Hospital in the Sodala area of Jaipur. It is a very busy street, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work or the hospital. Our school is a bit smaller than some of the others in the city, but we make the most of the space we have. The entrance is right off the main road and leads into a small courtyard where the students gather. Inside, the rooms are painted a light color to help with the Jaipur heat, and we have fans going in every corner. You can always hear the sound of traffic from the hospital road, but once the kids start their lessons, you sort of stop noticing it. We have a few floors and the stairs are narrow, so we have to tell the children to walk slowly. The teachers here are mostly from this neighborhood or nearby areas like Civil Lines or Mansarovar. They bring their lunch boxes and sit together during the break. We don't have a huge playground, but there is enough room for some basic exercise. It’s a practical place. We focus on getting through the books and making sure the students are where they need to be. It’s just a local school doing what it does every day of the week.
