Lakshved Foundation

Lakshved Foundation is located at Plot Number 13 in Shivshakti Nagar - 1, which is part of Bhagwati Nagar. It is a residential area mostly. We like being tucked away like this. It feels more like we are part of the community rather than some separate business. Our office is just a small building on the plot. We have done some work on it over the years to make it comfortable. We spend our time working on various local projects. We don't have a specific mission statement that we recite. We just see something that needs doing and we try to do it. It is pretty simple when you think about it. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the people and the problems they face. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it. The desk is usually messy with notes and lists. We try to stay organized but things move fast. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat or to ask for help with something. We like that. It keeps us connected to what is going on. We don't do big events or galas. That's not really our scene. We would rather just be here on Plot 13, getting the work done. It is a quiet life but it is a good one. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The trees around the plot give a nice bit of shade in the afternoons. Sometimes we just sit out there and think. It is important to have that quiet time when things get busy. We aren't in a rush to grow too big. We just want to do a good job right here.
