Lakshmi Welfare Foundation

Lakshmi Welfare Foundation is located at number 59 in Kanwar Nagar. We’re right by Subhash Chowk, quite close to the Chandi ke Taksal area. It’s a very busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of activity outside our doors. The building itself is an older one, and we occupy a small space on one of the floors. It’s not a polished, modern office. It’s more of a functional place where we keep our files and meet to discuss our welfare projects. There are usually three or four of us here at any given time. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the local community and figuring out how to manage the resources we have. It can get a bit loud with the traffic from Subhash Chowk, but we don't mind much. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Most people around Chandi ke Taksal know where we are. We don't use any fancy marketing talk or try to sound like a huge organization. We’re just a small foundation trying to do some good work. The desks are often covered in paper, and the tea kettle is almost always on. We prefer it this way because it feels real. It’s a practical workspace for a practical foundation.
