Lakshmi Marbles

If you drive down Kalwar Road, you’ll find us sitting right near Hem Vatika. Lakshmi Marbles has been part of this stretch for a long time. The yard is full of different types of marble slabs, and it’s usually a bit messy because of the cutting and loading. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it's just me or one of the guys working the yard. We walk you through the stacks and show you what’s arrived recently. We get a lot of dust on our clothes, but that’s the nature of the stone business. Kalwar Road has gotten a lot busier lately with all the new houses going up around Hem Vatika. We see a lot of people coming by looking for something for their new floors. We don’t do any fancy talk or try to push the most expensive stuff. We just show what’s available. If it fits what you want, great. If not, that’s okay too. We’ve had the same workers here for years. We know which stones are tough and which ones need more care. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the summer, so we do most of the heavy lifting in the mornings. It’s just a local marble shop trying to provide what the neighborhood needs without any fuss. The neighbors often stop by just to say hello while they’re out walking.
