Kumwat Cement Agency

I have been running Kumwat Cement Agency for quite a while now over here on Jobner Road. It is right across from the Power House, which makes it pretty easy to find if you are coming down Power House Road. The shop is mostly just stacks and stacks of cement bags piled up high. It gets pretty dusty inside, honestly. Every time a truck pulls up to unload, a cloud of grey powder settles on the desk and the chairs. I spend a lot of my day just sitting here watching the traffic go by and waiting for local builders or guys working on their houses to stop in. Sometimes the laborers are late, or the truck gets stuck in traffic near the intersection, and that is just how things go. We keep the ledger on a wooden table that has seen better days. The phone rings a few times an hour with people asking about prices or if we have enough stock for a foundation job. It is not fancy at all, just a place to get what you need for a construction project. Most of the people who come by are neighbors or folks from around the Jobner area. I usually have a cup of tea while I wait for the next delivery to arrive. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so it stays warm in here even when the weather starts to cool down a bit outside.
