Kuldeep Surela

I’ve been based here in Kartarpura for a while now. Most people know the Mahaveer Colony area around 10 B because it’s a busy little pocket of the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy place with a big glass front or anything like that. Just a simple spot where I get things done every day. The morning starts early here with the sound of the neighbors and the shops opening up. I usually get in around nine and start going through what needs to be finished. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the roadwork nearby but that is just how things are here in this part of Jaipur. I like being in this part of town because it feels real. You see the same faces every day and people stop by to say hello or ask a quick question. I try to keep things organized but sometimes papers pile up on the desk when it gets busy. There isn’t much to say about us other than we work hard and stay honest. I don’t see the point in using big words to describe what I do. It is just me and a couple of others trying to get the jobs done for the people who come to see us. If you are looking for a glossy office, this isn’t it. But if you want someone who knows the area and actually listens, then you know where to find me at my desk in the colony.
