Down here at 297 A in the Ganesh Nagar Extension, near Kardhani, life moves pretty fast. Kitchen Champs Masala Private Limited is based right here in Jhotwara, and the Kalwar Road traffic is something we deal with every single morning. The shop is tucked away a bit, but once you find us, you’ll notice we are always right in the middle of something. We spend a lot of time with the grinders and packing up small bags of masala. It gets loud and the air is always thick with the smell of different ground peppers. Our team is just a few local people who know how to handle the machines and the orders that come in. We aren't trying to be some massive factory you see on TV. We just work out of this spot and try to get the orders ready for the local shops around here. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets stuck, and we just have to fix it and keep moving. It’s a real job with real sweat. We’ve been in this Jhotwara area for a while, and we know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the road work outside. Most days involve a lot of lifting and making sure the labels are stuck on straight enough. We don't worry about being perfect, we just worry about getting the work done so we can head home at a decent hour.
