Kiran Shopping Mart

Our shop is at 183, Teeja Nagar, right on Sirsi Road in the Panchawala area. Kiran Shopping Mart is where most of the locals stop by when they need something quick for the house. We have the shelves packed pretty tight because we try to keep a bit of everything. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close but we try to keep it clean enough for the customers. I usually spend my time behind the counter or checking the inventory in the back room. It is a straightforward business and we do not try to be anything we are not. The neighbors come in for their daily stuff and we catch up on the local news while I ring them up. It is a lot of standing around and waiting for the rush hours. Mornings are quiet but the evenings on Sirsi Road get really packed with traffic. We have seen kids grow up coming here to buy snacks and now they come in as adults. That is the nice thing about being in a place like Teeja Nagar for so long. We do not have any big corporate plans or anything. We just want to make sure the milk is fresh and the bags are packed right. It is a decent way to spend the day and it keeps us connected to everyone around Panchawala. We just open the doors every morning and take things as they come.
