Khushi Graphics

Down here at Vidhyadhar Nagar G 10, it’s always a bit noisy because of the printers running. Khushi Graphics has been operating out of this small space for a good while now. The air usually smells like ink and fresh paper, which you get used to after about five minutes of being inside. I spend most of my time leaning over a screen or trying to fix a paper jam in the back machine. We do a lot of small jobs for the shops around here, like making those little flyers or business cards that people mostly just throw away, but they need them anyway. It’s a cramped little spot with boxes of paper stacked up almost to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit if we have a big order going out. We don’t really do fancy marketing for ourselves because the work usually just comes from people walking by and seeing the samples in the window. The lighting in G 10 isn't the best, but it works for what we do. My hands are almost always stained with some kind of blue or black ink by the time I head home for the evening. It’s just the nature of the business. We keep things simple and try to get the prints out when we say we will, though sometimes the machines have other ideas. It’s a local shop for local people, and that’s basically the whole story of this place.
