Khadelwal Cement Agencies has been operating out of our spot on Tonk Road in Lal Kothi for a good number of years. You can find us right opposite Magal Marg. It is a very busy part of town, which is good for a business like ours. We mostly deal with cement and related supplies for construction projects around the city. Our yard is usually full of heavy bags stacked up and waiting to be loaded onto trucks. It is dusty work and we spend most of our time wearing old clothes that we do not mind getting dirty. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning; we mostly just have a small desk where we keep our ledgers and talk to the drivers. The traffic on Tonk Road is almost constant, so there is always a bit of a roar in the background. We have a few reliable guys who help with the heavy lifting because those cement bags are not light. Most of our customers are builders or people doing their own home repairs. We try to be helpful and get people what they need without too much fuss. We are not interested in big advertising or anything like that. People know where we are and they know we have been here a long time. It is a simple, honest business and we take pride in just getting the work done every day.
