Kesar Microfinance Foundation

If you head down Old Sambhar Road in Phulera, you will find our office at Khasra No 234/1. We have been at this spot for quite a bit now, right here in the Jaipur area. It is a practical location for Kesar Microfinance Foundation because it puts us close to the local people we see every day. The road outside can get pretty dusty when the big trucks go by, but we try to keep the office tidy enough inside. It is just a few of us working here. We do not have those big glass walls or shiny floors you see in the middle of the city. Instead, we have basic wooden desks and a lot of old paper folders stacked on the shelves. People from around Phulera drop in when they have some questions or just need to sort out some paperwork with us. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench for a bit when it is not too hot. We know most of the shopkeepers nearby and often grab a cup of tea from the small stall down the lane. It is a working office, so things are usually a bit cluttered with documents and ledgers on the tables. We do not really do much in the way of decoration or art. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to stay as organized as we can. It gets quiet in the evenings once the sun starts to go down.
