Karuna Sales Corporation

Our business, Karuna Sales Corporation, is based in Dhula House. That's right in the middle of Bapu Bazar. If you've ever been to Bapu Bazar, you know how packed it gets with shoppers and tourists. Dhula House is one of those old buildings that has a lot of history. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now. We deal with various goods, mostly wholesale stuff. The office is usually filled with boxes and samples of things we sell. It’s not very tidy, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or people who want to buy in bulk. Bapu Bazar is a great location because so many people pass through every day. We don't have a fancy storefront with big glass windows. It's more of a practical workspace. Sometimes we have to carry heavy boxes up and down the stairs because the lift is temperamental and stops working. It keeps us fit, I guess. We take our lunch breaks together and usually get something from the street food stalls nearby. It’s a honest way to earn a living. We don't spend money on flyers or ads. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our name on the building directory for years. We just keep the business running as best as we can every day.
