Our place is at Plot No. 6 in the Old Kabad Khana area. Kayasthpura is a bit of an older part of the city, and it has its own character. We started out here quite a while ago. It’s a bit of a cluttered spot because we handle so many different things. We don't really have a specific niche, we just call it an enterprise because we do a bit of everything. You might see stacks of crates or some old machinery parts lying around the yard. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so it’s a loud and busy atmosphere during the day. We don't have a corporate office or a human resources department. It’s just us and a couple of helpers who show up every morning. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on the desks. Sometimes people get lost trying to find Old Kabad Khana, so we have to give directions over the phone a lot. It’s a practical kind of life. We don’t make big promises, we just see what needs to be done and try to get it finished by the time we close the gates. Kayasthpura has been our home for a long time, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s just a good, solid spot for what we do.
