We are located at E-79 in the Shyam Nagar Extn area. It’s a pretty simple yard where we keep all the marble stock. Working with stone like this is mostly about manual labor and having a good eye for the patterns in the rock. We get to work early to start moving the slabs for the day's orders. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, and you have to be careful not to chip the edges of the expensive pieces. The office is just a small room with a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets. It isn't a place for fancy meetings. We mostly just talk to the drivers and the local builders who come by to see what we have in stock. The ground in the yard gets really muddy when it rains, which makes moving the marble even harder. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the stone. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stacks so we can find things when someone asks. It’s a quiet business for the most part, except for when the trucks are idling out front. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and we know how things work around here. No big corporate vibes, just people doing a job.
