You’ll find us over in Sanganer Bazar, right in Balaji Tower. We occupy both the first and second floors, which is helpful because it gives us a bit more breathing room. Rampura Road is always packed with people, bikes, and rickshaws, especially since we’re so close to Keshar Choraha. Sometimes the noise from the intersection makes it hard to hear, but you get used to it after a week or two. The tower itself has seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. I spend a lot of my time walking between the two floors, checking if the markers are dry or if the water cooler needs a new bottle. It’s a lot of stairs to climb every day. The classrooms are basic—just rows of benches and boards. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front windows pretty hard, so we keep the heavy curtains drawn. It’s not a glamorous place, just a workspace where students from around Sanganer come to put in their hours. We keep a stack of old newspapers in the corner and a pile of extra notebooks for anyone who forgets theirs. The bazar outside is always loud, and you can smell the street food from the stalls downstairs during the evening break. It’s just how life is here. We open up early and usually stay until the last student packs their bag around sunset.
