Ji-Onedata Foundation

We are based at 51-B in Karni Vihar Colony, which sits right off Road No. 17 in the V.K.I. Area of Jaipur. It’s a bit of a mix of residential and industrial around here. We’ve been in this building for a while now. It’s a two-story place, and we use the ground floor for most of our work. The V.K.I. Area is always humming with activity, which we like. It keeps us feeling like we are part of the city’s heartbeat. Our office is pretty simple, with mismatched chairs and a big table where we do most of our planning. We don’t have a website designer or a PR person to make us look good. We just are who we are. Some days we spend hours just sorting through data and trying to make sense of things. Other days we are out talking to people in the colony. We try to keep the windows open when the weather is nice, even if it gets a bit noisy from the road. There’s always a kettle of tea going because we have visitors coming in and out throughout the day. It’s an informal place where people feel comfortable just stopping by. We don’t have any grand slogans. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a decent way to live and work in this city.
