We’ve been here at S-6, Shree Gopal Nagar for quite some time now. Dealing with heavy slabs of granite and marble is what we do every morning. It's dusty work, and our hands are usually covered in grit, but that's just part of the job. Most days start early before the heat picks up on the Gopalpura Bye-Pass. People come in looking for something specific for their floors or maybe a kitchen counter. We show them what’s in the yard. Sometimes the colors don't match exactly what they saw in a magazine, but that’s natural stone for you. We just try to get the pieces loaded up and sent out without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy office here. It’s mostly just us, some heavy machinery, and piles of stone. You learn a lot about how different rocks cut and polish when you spend your whole day around them. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to figure out where to put everything. We aren't really into big speeches or fancy talk. If someone needs marble, they walk in, look at the stock, and we figure out the logistics. It's straightforward stuff. We just keep the gates open and get on with the cutting and moving. Nothing more to it really. Just a local spot where we handle heavy things and hope the rain stays off the yard.
