Jan Jagrati Welfare Foundation is located at number 268 in Kumharo Ka Chowk. It’s the place of Ugamaram Prajapat, and he’s been the one keeping everything together for quite a while now. This part of town is pretty traditional, and we like that our foundation fits right into the local rhythm. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or big slogans. Instead, we just focus on the welfare of the people living around us. Whether it’s helping a neighbor with a problem or organizing something for the local kids, we just try to be useful. The office is usually a bit messy with papers and tea cups, but that's because we're actually working. We know most of the families in the chowk by their first names. It’s the kind of place where you can just stop by without an appointment if you need to talk. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just make things a little easier for the folks in our immediate vicinity. People know they can trust us because we live right here alongside them. We handle things as they come, day by day, without making things more complicated than they need to be. It’s simple work, but it’s honest, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been here for years and we don’t plan on changing how we do things anytime soon because this way works.
