If you head down to Loha Mandi on Sansar Chandra Road, you’ll find us at Dukan No. 61. We are right opposite the Mandawa Hotel, which is a good landmark because the market can be a bit confusing if you aren’t used to it. Being in a welding and hardware store means there’s always the smell of metal and a lot of clanging sounds. It’s a dusty place, but that’s just how a hardware shop is. We’ve been here for a long time, selling tools and supplies to people who come in from all over. The shop isn't very large, so we have stuff stacked up to the ceiling. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a pile of rods or some heavy boxes. We know our inventory by heart, though, so if someone asks for a specific bolt or a welding mask, we can find it pretty fast. The street outside is always crowded with carts and trucks, especially in the afternoons. We spend our days talking to builders, mechanics, and guys just trying to fix something at home. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and moving heavy items around. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually just stop by because they know we are here. It’s practical work and we enjoy being part of the local market life here. It is just the way we have always done things.
